Interview

Your relationship with Asheville Interiors and Dianne Hayter begins with a personal interview in your home. The purpose of the interview gives you an opportunity to discern whether or not Dianne Hayter and Asheville Interiors are the appropriate choices for you. And it gives Dianne Hayter an opportunity to determine whether or not Asheville Interiors can assist in accomplishing your goals.

diannesm.jpg You home is an outward reflection of you, a manifestation of YOUR environmental psychology.  As such, the interview is an indepth look-see at not only what you intend to change about your home, but at YOU.

Some interior design projects are on-going over a long period of time.  Some are quickly addressed and resolved.  Whether short or long-term, the relationship between Client and Designer is strategically important.  The interview is the event that determines if you are comfortable and confident working with the environmental psychology approach of Dianne Hayter and Asheville Interiors.

The end result of the in-home interview is the creation of a written Design Assessment.  It can be lengthy and on-going in the case of a whole-house and multiple projects, or it can simply be a Paint Plan.  If the in-home interview is only a second professional opinion, no written assessment may be needed.

Before the in-home interview, you are asked to complete a Design Assessment Questionnaire. The Questionnaire helps you focus on your goals and needs, your interests and desires for your home.
